Styling Your Booth at Pop Up’s

My partner in crime is having a pop up market today. Let’s take a look at her setup and do a breakdown of why it grabs someones attention to enter. (she gave me permission to use her photo)

  • First off, looks like she got a great location and has room to store extra stock behind her back table for extra supplies. That is nice.
  • That attention grabber sign “Hey Y’all”. Boom! Poppin and would pull me in there. “Hey, girl, hey, come on in”.
  • My eye draws next to that tower of beaded things in the back. The ladies love those things. Looks like a spinning display stand with a collection of key chains and beaded things. Winner on space saving. As I zoom in, there are things for sell and also decorations. Smart.
  • Let’s jump to the two shelves. I love those. The fold for travel. She has been telling me about these for a while about how nice they are. I need to order these. I love it that she has pillows and a mix of other “non-laser” items to offer. The pillows grab my eye and so does that round “Merry” sign. As you can see she has some Christmas stuff in here but it isn’t over bearing. Nice sampling.
  • Notice the only real color difference she has here is the NC state flag sign. I love it that she has stuck to her Black & White branding. Very classy and looks like a real damn store. She looks professional and it ALL matches. Similar font families across her product lines and same colors. People like shopping in cool looking places. Or at least I do.
    Winning!
  • Now let’s look at her lemonade stand (checkout counter). I have one of these and they are GREAT! Well worth dragging along to a show. Look how she placed it in the front so she can talk to passer by shoppers. “Hey ladies, enjoy your day”, “Oh that is a cute outfit”, “Yes, come on in and look around”. That stand serves as a check out counter but also a storage underneath for extra bags and her own personal
belongings. I bet Mae has a Truly down there for later this afternoon. Hehe.
  • Notice she hasn’t overpopulated the booth. It has the right mix of items out. She can restock as things sell.
  • As expected, she has her QRIC code for where to find and follow her.

Job well done my friend now go and grab that money. Mae Armstrong
